        *Project Safe place along with Volunteers of America will be hosting a Martin Luther King Celebration to help the local food banks in Idaho.           DONATED: $100.00

2010 GIVING-

October 15th, 2010 (2nd Annual Gala dinner)  we were able to generate $2,250.00 for the Shriners hospital for Children in Spokane.

2009 INWLCC Holiday Giving:                                                                  We will be collecting items at our next meeting for the following organizations:

• YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter in Spokane is in need of, womens items, gift cards, or cash.

• Port of Hope in Coeur D Alene is in need of sweats, blankets (twin size),  sheets (twin size), pillows, bath towels, toiletry kits, socks, etc.

• Community Food Bank in Coeur D Alene is in need of any non parishable food items and cash.

INWLCC Contributed $2,000 to Shriners Hospital in 2009. The proceeds came from our first Annual Inagural Gala at Northern Quest Casino during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Membership Contributions:

Farmers Insurance (Hayden Lake, Idaho) will be collecting toys for an Idaho organization in need. Their goal is to fill a bus with toys and various items needed. The drop off date for all of the items will be November 28, 2009

Best Western Peppertree Inns has adopted the Kindergarten and First Grade classes at Logan Elementary for the holidays. They will be delivering backpacks, blankets, coloring books, and crayons to each classroom on December 17, 2009.
